Go! Team Gets Cheap! and Spooky!

Published: 2005-08-03
Don't fancy paying $35+ for the Go! Team's Thunder, Lightening, Strike full-length? Can't imagine why, but those who don't want to dish out a small fortune will soon be able to have the sextet's debut record spinning for a mere fraction of the current import price.

The British buzz band recently inked a deal with Columbia Records, who will release Thunder, Lightening, Strike domestically in North America. Hitting shelves on September 27th with a more reasonable price tag, fans of the Go! Team are in for a bonus, as the US version will come with two extra tracks.

Making the deal even sweeter, the dance rock band will be touring the continent in support of the release. So far there have been 15 performances confirmed, including two north of the 49th parallel. Both Toronto and Montreal will receive the six-piece, with the Go! Team hitting the latter on Halloween night.

The Go! Team mingle with the ghosts and ghouls:

October 30, Toronto, ON - Phoenix
October 31, Montreal, QC - La Tulipe
