Gwen Stefani, BEP, MIA Bounce Around Canada

Published: 2005-08-02
Breakout solo artist Gwen Stefani is packing up her crazy Alice In Wonderland costume and horde of Harajuku girls and hitting the road this fall. The singer will play a series of dates in the United States and Canada, including her first in the Prairies without her band mates in No Doubt.

The Harajuku Lovers 2005 Tour is set to launch on October 16th in the heat of Phoenix, Arizona, taking the singer up and down both coasts before she hits Winnipeg in the first of three Canadian dates. California will see Stefani wrap up the two month jaunt on November 25th.

In addition to Winnipeg, Stefani and company will play Edmonton and Vancouver in the most haphazard tour this country is bound to see all year. Tickets for the Canadian stops on the stadium tour in support of Love.Angel.Music.Baby don't go on sale until mid-September for some odd reason.

As if the tour wasn't big enough already, with Stefani spitting out hit single after hit single, hip hop foursome the Black Eyed Peas will be along for the ride. Canada also gets buzz artist M.I.A. as "warm-up" act for all three stops (according to Pollstar). With more critical acclaim than both Stefani and BEP combined, a good chunk of tickets will surely sell due to the London-based artist alone.

Taking odd fascinations with Harajuku Girls to the next level here:

November 16, Winnipeg, MB - MTS Centre
November 18, Edmonton, AB - Rexall Place
November 20, Vancouver, BC - GM Place

WHY ISN'T SHE COMING TO OTTAWA???? OR EVEN TORONTO??? IT MAKES ME SO SAD!! She has so many fans in Ottawa she wouldn't believe! I really hope she makes a tour stop here, it would be so unreal!! :) I know Gavin is so hard to be away from but so many people in Ontario would be over joyed to see her in concert.
