Corb Lund Gets His Truck Unstuck

Published: 2005-08-02
Part country-rock artist and part cowboy-jokester, Edmonton-native Corb Lund will release his newest studio effort on September 6th. Tagged with the title Hair In My Eyes Like A Highland Steer, the record features 13 tracks, including the highly amusing single "The Truck Got Stuck", which is potentially only funny to Prairie folk.

This will be Lund's fourth full-length album, and his most commercial to date, with CMT taking sharp notice of the singer/songwriter. Living up well to the roots-rock genre, Hair In My Eyes was produced by Harry Stinson, who mingles with the likes of Paul Brandt, Lyle Lovett, and Steve Earle.

Taking his show to Europe for a few select dates in August, Lund expects to be touring his home nation more thoroughly in support of the new disc. So far he and his touring band, the Hurtin' Albertans, have a few lined up for Manitoba and the Northwest Territories; check for constant updates.
