Everyone knew when U2 and Paul McCartney hooked up on the Live 8 stage that the results were gonna be good. The two legendary acts probably never could have guessed how good thoughótheir rendition of the Beatles' 1967 song "Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" has broken all the download sales records.

The live duet has successfully become the fastest selling download of all time. Not only that, but according to NME, it's also entered into the Guinness Book of World Records for being the quickest single put on sale after recording. The track was available for purchase just 45 minutes after U2 and Macca performed it.

Those who don't have the urge to join the crowd and buy "Sgt Pepper's" as a download single can check out the performance on-demand at music.aol.com. Music fans can replay not only Paul McCartney and U2 over and over again, but the entirety of the Live 8 concerts. Now that's a lot of footage to get through.
