Lonestar Preps Eighth Studio Album

Published: 2005-07-20
Using the sunny months to play a series of shows around North America, including a few scattered across Canada, popular country act Lonestar is merely warming up for the wave its next full-length album will bring. Titled Coming Home, the record is expected to drop on September 13th.

Coming Home will be the four-piece's eighth studio album, and the follow-up to the successful 2004 album Let's Be Us Again. The band hasn't released the disc's track list yet, but the band has said that this record is more rocky and has more energy than some of its previous work.

The first single from the disc, "You're Like Coming Home," enjoyed immediate success, and Lonestar recently filmed a video for the song in Texas. Director Trey Fanjoy, ("My Front Porch Looking In") strapped the band onto a flatbed truck and drove them down the highway for the shoot. Fans can catch the video soon on country music stations.

Lonestar's remaining Canadian summer date:

August 17, Orilla, ON - Casino Rama

Writer: Jaclyn Arndt
