Hailing from the flatlands Alberta it's no wonder that synth-band the Floor are heading to hot and humid Ontario this summer. Making the long journey in support of their recently released debut longplayer Personnel, the Edmonton quartet will play a total of eight shows in Ontario and one in Quebec this summer.
Before the band makes it all the way to Ontario though, they'll take their time and play a few shows in the prairies. Saskatchewan and Manitoba are also in the Floor's sights, with the entire two-week tour kicking off in Saskatoon on July 25th. The last show the guys have got scheduled lands them in Windsor on August 4th.
Released in May of this year, Personnel has taken the Floor's dancey yet mellow music to the next level. Released on a good ol' Canadian indie label, all of the 11 tracks of the record can be sampled at the band's website: www.thefloor.ca.
