London Concerts Cancelled In Wake of Attack

Published: 2005-07-08
In the wake of Thursday's terrorist attacks in London, England, many concerts across the city have been cancelled. Canadian punk rockers Sum 41 have called off their show at the Astoria while Nate James, Queens of the Stone Age, El Presidente, and Prodigy have followed suit.

A statement on Queens of the Stone Age's official website read today, "The band's hearts go out to everyone affected by this horrible attack." Queen featuring Paul Rodgers and REM have postponed their shows that were scheduled to take place in Hyde Park. The Queen show will now take place on July 15 while REM will play July 16.

Snoop Dogg's July 11 show at MEN Arena in Manchester is also still up in the air.
