Robert Plant 'Rearranges' Canada This September

Published: 2005-07-08
He'll always be known as the guy with the long, curly hair who fronted Led Zeppelin, but Robert Plant will continue to get his kicks on stage with his new band the Strange Sensation. After making a strong live showing at this year's SXSW Festival, the band lined-up an extensive tour of North America.

Seemingly scared of leaving anyone out, Plant and company have continued to add dates onto the jaunt, taking the band all the way into October. Hawking Mighty Rearranger mainly in the States, the rockers will make their way to Canada for a fair number of shows beginning with Toronto yesterday (July 6th).

After playing the Reading and V Festivals in Britain, Robert Plant and the Strange Sensation will begin another round of North American dates. Starting with a string of 8 Canadian dates beginning on September 10th in Ottawa and heading westwards, the tour will be all wrapped up in Florida.

The Canadian leg of Robert Plant and the Strange Sensation's fall tour:

September 10, Ottawa, ON - Corel Centre
September 12, Montreal, QC - Bell Centre
September 14, London, ON - John Labatt Centre
September 17, Winnipeg, MB - MTS Centre
September 19, Edmonton, AB - Rexall Place
September 20, Calgary, AB - Pengrowth Saddledome
