Ray LaMontagne Wanders North America

Published: 2005-07-06
Lauded singer/songwriter Ray LaMontagne will continue his quest to bring music to the masses by touring North America this summer. Making his way from the Pacific all the way to the Atlantic in the company of Rachel Yamagata and Dave Matthews Band, LaMontagne has a total of 25-dates scheduled before he heads to the UK to perform at Reading and Leeds.

Kicking off today (July 6th) in Seattle, Washington, the American artist will play his last performance on North American soil on August 17th in Atlanta, Georgia. Unfortunately there is just one Canadian stop pencilled into LaMontagne's agenda: a headlining show at Toronto's Mod Club on July 28th.

Tickets for the no minors event at the Mod Club are available for purchase through Ticketmaster at $16.50 a pop before all those lovely convenience charges.

LaMontagne is still touring behind his debut full-length album, Trouble, released in September 2004 through RCA Records. The 10-track record has gained the singer countless comparisons to Van Morrison; check out a few songs from Trouble, including the spectacular title-track, at www.raylamontagne.com.
