Toronto's Uncut Working On New Album

Published: 2005-07-05
Toronto rock act Uncut are currently working on the follow up to 2004's Those Who Were Hung Hang Here. The band is playing 4 to 5 new songs during their sets and will be coming up with more material as they head into the studio.

Formed in the early 2000's, the first version of Uncut was a duo made up of Ian Worang and Jake Fairley. Fairley decided to play music in Germany leaving Worang to recruit some new members who got together and released the critically acclaimed Those Who Were Hung Hang Here. Touring with the likes of Sloan and Death From Above, Uncut has steadily made a name for themselves with their dynamic live show and dark themed songs.

This past weekend the band played the Fort Erie Friendship Festival, which will be followed by a Canadian tour with Wintersleep and Sylvie. For more info on their tour check out
