They're spending the first part of their summer travelling across Europe, but Jason Molina and the rest of Magnolia Electric Co. will devote the last half and part of fall to North America. The band already covered the western half of the continent earlier this year in support of What Comes After The Blues, which only leaves the eastern side.
Returning from Europe in mid-July to play Pitchfork's inaugural Intonation Music Festival in Chicago, the official start of the tour will come on August 1st in Detroit. From there Molina and company will head north to play a long string of dates in Canada, concentrating on Ontario for five dates, and hitting Quebec for one.
After they've travelled Canadian soil to their liking, Magnolia Electric Co. will head down the East Coast, and land in Texas for the bulk of their dates. For a complete list of tour dates, including the band's remaining European stops, go to www.songsohia.com.

August 3, Waterloo, ON - Starlight
August 4, Hamilton, ON - The Underground
