Hot on the heels of its debut longplayer, Ontario band the Inflation Kills will try out its brand of indie rock on the country's westerners. With plans to hit the prairies when summer finally fades away, the quartet is currently putting its fall tour plans together.
So far it looks like the Inflation Kills will kick off the jaunt on September 2nd in Thunder Bay, stopping for a two-night stint in Winnipeg before making its way to Calgary for September 10th. The band hasn't announced many venues yet, but check back to myspace.com/theinflationkills for confirmations as they come.
Before the band, which is made up of ex-kitchens & bathrooms members, makes it to the Wild West, it'll be playing a few shows closer to home in support of its eponymous debut, released in April 2005. Three of the four scheduled gigs will be going down in the band's hometown of Hamilton, with the other happening in Port Dover, Ontario.
The Inflation Kills' plans for 2005 are shaping up like this:
July 9, Hamilton, ON - The Underground
July 22, Port Dover, ON - The Hall
July 23, Hamilton ON - The Underground
August 13, Hamilton, ON - YMCA
September 2, Thunder Bay, ON - TBA
September 3 & 4, Winnipeg, MB - TBA
September 6, Saskatoon, SK - TBA
September 8, Edmonton, AB - The New City
