Avril Lavigne to Voice Cartoon Character

Canadian pop rocker Avril Lavigne will be lending her voice to an upcoming animated feature from Dreamworks titled Over the Hedge, to be released sometime in 2006. According to her website, Lavigne will voice a possum named Heather.

Other voices for the film include Nick Nolte, Bruce Willis, Garry Shandling, William Shatner, Allison Janney, Eugene Levy, Catherine O'Hara, Wanda Sykes, and Steve Carell. Lavigne is playing the daughter of William Shatner's character, an over-the-top possum trying to live with the threat of the spreading suburbs encroaching on the woodlands.

Lavigne will be kicking off her summer tour July 12th in Hamilton and will be stopping in London (July 13th), Ottawa (July 14th), and Toronto (July 15th) before heading off to the States. For more information on Lavigne's upcoming tour, visit https://tickets.ultrastar.com/.

i think this is sooo awesome my all time fav. singer canadian avril lavigne hits the moveis now she is a all time ROCKER she is aweosme what more do peeps what out of her all i kno is that i want to meet her soooooooo badly but that is hard to i wonder how i can? i went to her concert november 11th it was sooo sweet!!!! the whole place went wild and well she came out thier jumpin and i was like sooo happy i was gonna cry it was the best time in my life well here are the last words I HOPE SHE LIKES DOIN THE MVE STUFF BUT IF NOT I DONT CARE STICK WITH THE MUSIC AVIE BEACAUSE I LOVE IT WELL PEACE OUT ROCK ON ALL THE WAY!!!
