Saskatchewan alt-rock trio Wide Mouth Mason is ready to make a comeback this summer, releasing its fifth full-length studio album into the world on August 16th. Finished with Atlantic/WEA and calling Toronto-based indie label Curve Music home these days, WMM has titled its newest effort Shot Down Satellites.
Fans can check out the first single from the disc, "Not Loving You," by visiting the band's MySpace page, found at MySpace.com/WideMouthMason. They released the track to radio this week, so those of us who are a bit lazy can catch it on a local station instead.
Wide Mouth Mason is ready and raring to hit the highway, as bands are apt to do, to spread the word about Shot Down Satellites. The rockers have 14 confirmed summer dates in their future, all of them happening on the western side of the country. For constant tour updates, go to widemouthmason.com.
