Black Mountain Touring with Coldplay

Published: 2005-06-15
Vancouver rock band Black Mountain has scored the opening slot on Coldplay's summer North American tour, which kicks off August 2nd in Toronto at the Air Canada Centre. The band will head to Europe later this month to support its 2005 self-titled debut album, a classic rock record full of heavy riffs and tripped out lyrics.

Black Mountain plays the Duotone Arts Festival in Kelowna, BC, before its North American tour with Coldplay kicks off. The festival runs from July 29th to 31st and also features performances by Ladyhawk, DJ Todd Rockwell, Continuous Peasants, Buttless Chaps, and many others.

The Coldplay/Black Mountain tour will make only two stops in Canada: Toronto on August 2nd and Montreal August 3rd.
