Tori Amos Prepares for 'Summer of Sin'

Published: 2005-06-13
Flaming-haired piano siren Tori Amos has already covered Australia in support of her latest effort The Beekeeper, and now it's the northern hemisphere's turn to receive the songstress. She'll start things off with a month-long run across Europe before kicking off her 27-date North American leg in Atlanta August 8th.

Performances are still being confirmed, but at the moment the final date of the jaunt will be when Amos hits Los Angeles September 17th. Just two Canadian stops have made the itinerary. Accompanying the veteran pianist are Los Angeles alt-rock band the Ditty Bops and British singer-songwriter Imogen Heap (also known as one half of Frou Frou).

Released in February 2005, The Beekeeper is the follow-up record to 2002's well-received Scarlet's Walk. Amos's eighth album in her fifteen year career, The Beekeeper clocks in at an impressive 80 minutes.

Here are the two Canadian stops on the Summer of Sin tour:

August 26, Montreal, QC - Bell Centre
August 27, Toronto, ON - Molson Amphitheatre
