Finally! Listen to CBC Radio 3 Anywhere, Anytime

As it promised earlier this year, CBC Radio 3 has found a way to expand its Saturday night time slot into an any time broadcast, allowing fans to fill up all 24 hours with high quality tunes. Using the lovely technology of podcasting, you can now download Radio 3 broadcasts to your MP3 player, then listen to them whenever you want.

Even those who don't own an iPod or similar device can listen to the Radio 3 podcast. Along with software like iTunes or Windows Media Player, a free version of a podcasting client will suffice to get the Canadian jams flowing through the good ol' desktop. The Saturday night conventional broadcast of Radio 3 on the regular CBC Radio 2 FM frequency is already extremely popular with underground music fans, and the podcast version will play 100% Canadian content. I'm confused - I thought that Radio 3 had been cancelled. Maybe this is yet another example of CBC recycling old content instead of developing and supporting it's creative staff.
