The electro-rockers who make up controller.controller will use the summer to keep supporting their History EP. Fresh off a cross-country tour with fellow Torontonians Death From Above 1979, controller.controller has plans to revisit some of the eastern Canadian territory, as well as dipping into the United States.
Beginning June 24th in Hamilton, the five-piece will play four southern Ontario dates before hitting their first US date in Washington, DC, on July 14th. Nearly all of the band's American shows and two of their Canadian stops include Kentucky indie act VHS or Beta. For a full list of dates, go to controllercontroller.com.
Released in February 2004, just a few years after the band formed, the seven songs found on the History EP have gained controller.controller a ton of attention both at home and around the rest of the globe. There should be a full-length on the horizon for the band, but at this point the road is their home.
Canadian and near-Canadian stops in controller.controller's future are as follows:
June 24, Hamilton, ON - The Underground
June 25, London, ON - Call the Office
July 2, Toronto, ON - Sneaky Dee's
July 14, Kingston, ON - Elixir
July 19, Montreal, QC - La Sala Rossa (with VHS or Beta)
July 20, Toronto, ON - Lee's Palace (with VHS or Beta)
July 21, Detroit, MI - TBD (with VHS or Beta)
