Buck 65 is ready to release a new album for his deeply rooted hardcore fan base. Due out on June 28th through Warner, Buck 65's eighth full-length album, Secret House Against the World, is set to bring a new dimension to the Nova Scotia rapper's music.
Recorded in Chicago and mixed in France, Secret House has Buck 65 (a.k.a. Richard Terfry) working with everyone from post-rockers Tortoise to turntablist D-Styles. In his online confessions (found at buck65.com), Terfry explains the disc: "This record is quite different musically from anything I've done before. There's lots of strings and piano. More melody. Some feminine touches. I'm even going to sing a little finally."
To support the new record, which will get a July release in the UK, Buck 65 is doing some major touring. Late June will see Terfry cover the Irish and British end of the jaunt, while July is reserved for all the festivals that fall across the Great White North. August has Buck jumping back across the Atlantic for another round of European dates.
