World Electronic Music Festival Plays Out in July

The World Electronic Music Festival(WEMF)is back for an 11th year this summer, bringing together the best the world has to offer to the town of Orangeville, Ontario. Running from July 8th to 10th and boasting over 200 performers, the festival caters to all parts of the electronica spectrum, from trance to house to drum 'n' bass to techno.

Lined up to perform on the Bassline Main Stage this year are the likes of Mix Master Mike of Beastie Boys fame, London's DJ Hype, and a variety of Canadian artists including MC Caddy Cad, Everfresh, and Ryan Ruckus. Headlining the Four-Four Main Stage is Rabbit in the Moon from Los Angeles, with Matt Hardwick and Israel's Astral Projection taking their turns as well.

Attracting electronica fans from all over North America, WEMF is located an hour from Toronto and four from Detroit. Passes for all three days cost $75 in advance, going up to $120 at the gate for all the last minute buyers out there.
