Making good use of the sunny months, celebrated singer-songwriter Ron Sexsmith will make his way around the continent, hitting both clubs and outdoor festivals. The majority of the Ontario troubadour's performances will be with a full band, but a few here and there will see Sexsmith take to the stage by his lonesome.
Sexsmith will play festivals in Ottawa, Edmonton, and Regina, as well as three dates in Toronto, including a two-night stint with a full orchestra and one gig at the zoo. On June 26th he'll even take up residence in New York City's Central Park for a headlining show.
Sexsmith wraps up a short tour of Europe today with a show in Stockholm. His performance in Amsterdam Monday was broadcast live over the net; those who missed it will find it in the archives at Fabchannel.com. In other Ron Sexsmith news, the singer is planning on heading back into the studio soon to record the follow-up to the Juno Award-winning Retriever.
