Perry Farrell to Record with the Doors

According to the Perry Farrell fan page aintnoright.com, the surviving members of the Doors have approached ex-Jane's Addiction singer Perry Farrell to record an album with them. This August Farrell will perform with the Doors at the VH1 taping of Decades.

Recent rumours said Farrell was producing an unreleased Jim Morrison track titled "Woman in the Window," which he planned to feature on the upcoming album from his new project, Satellite Party.

Recently Farrell was spotted playing a live acoustic set opening for Suicidal Tendencies at the premiere after-party of the new movie Lords of Dogtown. Two of the surviving members of the Doors, Ray Manzarek and Robby Krieger, will be appearing in their new incarnation as the Doors of the 21st Century this summer at the travelling Strange Days Festival. The festival will also feature Vanilla Fudge, Yardbirds, Steppenwolf, and Pat Travers.
