The Barrymores Set to Record New Album

Published: 2005-05-27
Winnipeg ska outfit the Barrymores are hitting High North Studios this August to record the follow-up to the group's 2004 CD, All Nighters. The band hopes to release the album later this year or in early 2006. The group recently shot a new video that they will post on their official website very soon.

Along with recording an album this summer, the Barrymores are among the featured groups playing the Forks in Winnipeg, Manitoba, on July 1st. The audience promises to be the biggest the band has ever played to, with thousands of Winnipeggers descending on the area for Canada Day festivities. Other acts playing the event include the Fabulous Kildonans and the Farrell Brothers.

The group recently cut its U.S. tour short to save money for the new record. For updates on the new album and live shows, visit
