Razorlight Gets Itself a DVD

Published: 2005-05-27
What's a band without a DVD? Not much. Aware of this, London-based quartet Razorlight will solve its no-DVD problem next week. Complete with a very explanatory title, This Is a Razorlight DVD goes on sale in Britain this coming Monday, and will probably only be available in North America as an import.

Featuring loud-mouthed singer Johnny Borrell and his variously European bandmates, the DVD will come with both a live performance and all seven of their music videos. The footage captured for the release comes from an October 9th, 2004, concert at London's Brixton Academy, which Razorlight played as part of the NME Rock 'n' Roll Riot show.

Clocking in at 95 minutes, This Is a Razorlight DVD will come complete with other assorted goodies, including a rooftop performance, drummer Andy Burrows's first performance with the band, and an acoustic performance from early 2004.
