Published: 2005-05-20
The Seattle rockers who make up Pearl Jam plan to release their eighth studio album this fall on J Records, just before the band joins the Rolling Stones on stage September 28th.

Pearl Jam will cut the 25 songs it has been working on down to 12. Some of the tracks include "Severed Hand," "Worldwide Suicide," "2x4," and "Marker." The band recently played to 200 people at Easy Street Records in West Seattle, performing several hits, including "Even Flow," and a new song called "Crapshoot." Singer Eddie Vedder treated fans by duetting with X singer John Doe on X's "The New World."

Pearl Jam kicks off its cross-Canada tour September 2nd in Vancouver. They land in Toronto September 20th at the Air Canada Centre.
