Shout Out Louds 'Howl' Next Week

Published: 2005-05-20
The members of Swedish band Shout Out Louds spent April gearing up to leave their country behind to hang out in the U.K. and the U.S. for May and June. Currently wrapping up their British jaunt with a show in Nottingham tonight, Shout Out Louds will cross the Atlantic and land in the States to hitch a ride with the Dears' tour.

Unfortunately neither Montreal indie rockers the Dears nor Shout Out Louds will play Canada any time soon. The real question, however, is what reason would prompt five kids to leave Sweden and spend two hectic months on the road. The answer: the North American drop of their very first internationally released album.

Hitting stores in the U.S. and Canada next Tuesday (May 24th), Howl Howl Gaff Gaff houses 11 tracks of some pretty fancy, retro-inspired guitar rock. Lucky people that we are, North Americans get Howl Howl Gaff Gaff before anyone else. July will see the Japanese release, and not until September will folks in the rest of the world get their hands on the record.

The track list of Howl Howl Gaff Gaff looks like this:

"The Comeback"
"Very Loud"
"Oh, Sweetheart"
"A Track and a Train"
"Go Sadness"
"Please Please Please"
"100 Degrees"
"There's Nothing"
"Hurry Up Let's Go"
"Shut Your Eyes"
