Winnipeg's most promising songstress is preparing to chip away at the collective Canadian consciousness with the release of her third full-length album. That's right, Christine Fellows is back with Paper Anniversary, her first album since 2002's The Last One Standing. Due to hit stores on June 7th, the album is Fellows' second release for Six Shooter Records.
To promote Paper Anniversary across the land, Fellows will head out on an Eastern tour this June, and then hit a few Western festivals in the summer. So far eight Ontario dates have been confirmed, book-ended by Toronto visits, with one Montreal gig thrown into the mix.
According to Fellow's website (www.christinefellows.com), for a few of the June shows, the singer/songwriter will be joined by another Winnipeg artist that's been gaining more and more praise as the years pass: The Weakerthan's John K Samson. Exactly on which dates Samson will be performing solo sets is at this point a mystery
