Bruce Springsteen Hits Number One

According to, Bruce Springsteen's latest album Devils & Dust sold 222,000 copies this week to gain top spot on the billboard album charts. Springsteen bumped former number one Rob Thomas who debuted his first solo record ...Something to Be last week. Thomas dropped to fourth while Mariah Carey took second place.

Next week should see the debut of two highly anticipated releases from Nine Inch Nails and Limp Bizkit. Green Day dropped out of the top ten for the first time in a while dropping to number 12. The top five this week is as follows:

Bruce Springsteen's Devils & Dust; Mariah Carey's The Emancipation of Mimi; Bobby Valentino's Bobby Valentino; Rob Thomas' ...Something to Be; Amerie's Touch.
