Bryan Adams Disc Finally Gets American Release

Published: 2005-05-03
Bryan Adams' last disc Room Service is finally being released in the United States on May 10th. The album was released in Canada and the U.K. last fall. The album continues the same formula Adams perfected over the years with such hit albums as Reckless, Cuts Like a Knife and the mega-selling Waking Up the Neighbours.

Adams is about to embark on the "Rock 'n' Roll Double-Header Tour" with fellow 80's rockers Def Leppard. The tour kicks off June 1st in Portland and will hit 26 minor league baseball stadiums. Tickets have been available since March.

Bryan Adams has sold 60 million records worldwide since his solo self-titled debut was released in 1980. His 1991 hit "Everything I Do (I Do it For You)" spent 16 weeks atop the U.K. charts making it one of the biggest selling singles of all-time. Like Def Leppard, Adams experienced his greatest success working with super producer John "Mutt" Lange who is also known for being the husband and producer of country star Shania Twain.
