The Coral Put The Ribbon On ŽInvisible InvasionŪ

The third proper album from Liverpool band The Coral is well on its way, and all the details for the effort have been released: title, track-list, release date, lead-off single, and all! Due out in the UK on May 23rd, and available on import in Canada from then on, The Invisible Invasion houses 12 new tracks from the alt-rock six-piece.

A song called "In The Morning" has the privilege of being the first single lifted from the album. Released to stores on May 9th, a video for "In The Morning" can be viewed at for a limited time by signing up for the band's mailing list.

Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher recently ripped the current UK music scene to shreds - he harped on everyone from Franz Ferdinand to Pete Doherty - but his brother Noel reserved some love for The Coral. When the band launched The Invisible Invasion with a performance in London on April 26th, the elder Gallagher declared the band "f**king brilliant". S'pose it's better than being called Right Said Fred.
