U2's New Video Shot in Vancouver

Irish rock band U2 is set to play Vancouver for two nights on April 28th and the 29th. Both shows are sold out but fans got an early treat Wednesday afternoon when a call was put out to get 4,000 or so people to appear in U2's new video. Filming took place at Vancouver's GM Place Arena.

U2 fans Andrea Clarkson and Andrea Paolini notified Soul Shine of the video shoot by phoning me as they waited in line to appear in the new video. "I can't believe we're here," Clarkson said. "We're about to get wristbands. I'm not sure what song U2 is using for the video but it doesn't matter," Clarkson added.

U2 is no stranger to Vancouver's GM Place since it was where they held tour rehearsals in March before heading off to San Diego for the first show of their Vertigo tour. The Vertigo tour was a resounding success selling out multiple shows in almost every city it stopped in.

U2 land in Toronto on September 12th for their first of four consecutive shows at the Air Canada Centre.
