Esthero Shouts Out To 'Wikked Lil' Grrrls'

Published: 2005-04-26
On June 28th the newest album from Toronto's electronic chanteuse Esthero becomes available for everyone across the land to set their ears upon. Given the title Wikked Lil' Grrrls, the record is Esthero's second full-length release, and her first in seven long years. Released through Reprise Records, the album is home to 17 new tracks.

Quite a few notable names can be found in the liner notes of Wikked Lil' Grrrls; Outkast's Andre 3000 guests, and the likes of Sean Lennon, Jelleestone, and Cee-Lo get credit for lending a hand with songwriting. Always willing to work with others, Esthero's last release, the We R in Need of a Musical Revolution EP, also features a host of co-writers that build a web through the music world.

In the meantime, with no confirmed plans to launch a full-blown tour anytime soon, fans of Esthero will be able to catch the singer by shelling out a pile of dough to attend the Sonic Bloom Gala, which Esthero is performing at in support of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra. The event takes place on June 4th; go to for more details.
