System of a Down's First of Two New Albums Out Next Month

Hard rockers System of a Down are preparing to release the first half of their new double album, Mezmerize/Hypnotize. Mezmerize will be out on May 17th. The first single, "B.Y.O.B.," is already out on radio, and the video is about to hit television.

The band is set to appear at the Souls 2005 benefit concert in Los Angeles this month, followed by warm-up gigs in San Francisco and in Austin, Texas. They'll also perform on Saturday Night Live on May 7th, where they will be playing their new single. Their European tour kicks off May 27th in Lisbon. For tour updates, visit
