Double CD Boo Radleys Anthology Due In July

Published: 2005-04-22
Beloved Liverpool alt-rock band The Boo Radleys are going to round up songs that span their decade-long career, whittle them down to two discs, and release it as a 40-song anthology this summer. For all those completists out there, Find The Way Out will feature b-sides, rarities, and previously unreleased material in addition to album tracks and remastered singles.

To be released on July 4th in the UK and available as an import here in Canada, the band's first-ever anthology will quite wisely include all of The Boo Radleys' charting singles, as well as Top 10er "Wake Up Boo," and "Lazarus," which was even a hit over here in North America. Although Find The Way Out is being released through Sanctuary Records, the label found their way around all the legal issues to include six tracks from The Radleys' days on Action and Rough Trade.

Putting their debut album, Ichabod and I, into the world in 1990, The Boo Radleys went on to release six full-length albums to much critical acclaim. However, good things rarely last, and 1998 was the year The Boo Radleys officially disbanded, just months after release their final studio album, Kingsize.

The track list of Find The Way Out will look like this:

Disc one:
"Walking 5th Carnival"
"Hip Clown Rag"
"The Finest Kiss"
"Lazy Day"
"Does This Hurt"
"Sunfly II: Walking With The Kings"
"Buffalo Bill"

"Let Me Be Your Faith" (b-side)
"Thinking of Ways"
"Best Lose The Fear"
