After cancelling his 2004 North American tour for family reasons, Lenny Kravitz is back on the road with his Electric Church Tour. The exclusive theatre tour kicked off earlier this month in Dallas and will continue through Canada and the U.S. before heading off to Europe in June.
In March, Kravitz toured Latin America for the first time, stopping in such countries as Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, and Chile. While in Brazil, Kravitz made headlines by meeting with Brazilian president Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva to discuss Brazil's Zero Hunger campaign. He donated one of his guitars to the campaign, which seeks to end hunger among 50 million Brazilians who live on less than a dollar a day.
The North American leg of the Electric Church Tour will be Kravitz's first North American tour in three years and will hit Toronto on April 27th. The show's only other Canadian stop is in Vancouver on May 14th.
