After Vancouver-based singer-songwriter Jeremy Fisher finishes his stint as opening act for Canadian Idol Kalan Porter, he'll jump up to the top of the bill as he headlines around the country next month. With PEI artist Nathan Wiley acting as opener for the jaunt, the pair will play a total of 11 shows from the West Coast to Quebec.
After kicking off on May 12th in Victoria, BC, Fisher will head the only direction he can without getting very, very wet. The final performance for the two Can-rock artists is May 28th in Montreal, which is roughly equidistant from the two musicians' homes.
Jeremy Fisher has been touring across Canada non-stop since the beginning of 2005 in support of his new disc, Let It Shine. Fisher's very first album for a major label, Let It Shine is beginning to pick up steam, with current single "High School" making more than the occasional appearance on Much More Music. Nathan Wiley's latest effort is called High Low, and hit stores in September of last year.
