Hot Hot Heat Takes The Blue Van Across America

Published: 2005-04-21
The bill for Hot Hot Heat's first tour across North America since the release of their new album keeps getting better and better. Two of the buzziest bands on the planet were roped in as openers for the Canadian leg of the tour: American sleaze rockers Louis XIV and British quartet The Futureheads.

Another up-and-coming band called The Blue Van has been added to the already stellar lineup Hot Hot Heat is taking across the globe. Hailing from Denmark, the four-piece is out supporting their recently released debut album, The Art of Rolling. Unfortunately, the retro blues-rockers will only be playing with The Heat in America.

Hot Hot Heat is touring in support of their sophomore effort, Elevator, which hit stores April 5th. They're in the midst of completing their Canadian tour and will then head to the UK before embarking on their American tour with The Blue Van.

The Blue Van's upcoming performances with Hot Hot Heat look like this:

May 20, New York, NY - Webster Hall
May 21, Northampton, MA - Pearl Street
May 22, Philadelphia, PA - The Trocadero
May 23, Boston, MA - Avalon Ballroom
May 25, Lancaster, PA - Chameleon
May 26, Cincinnati, OH - Bogart's
May 31, Milwaukee, WI - The Rave
