Snoop Dogg Kicks it Euro Style

Published: 2005-04-20
According to contactmusic.com, rapper Snoop Dogg would like to collaborate with a wide variety of European musicians, particularly Scottish rockers Franz Ferdinand, on a future album.

In the interview Snoop mentions that he wants to work with Franz because of their song "Take Me Out." With many artists collaborating across genres over the years, most notably Run DMC and Aerosmith, Snoop wouldn't be the first rapper to work with a rock artist.

Snoop is currently on the "How the West Was Won Tour," featuring newcomer The Game. The tour kicked off April 15th in Salt Lake City. Snoop's most recent album, Rhythm and Gangsta: The Masterpiece, and its first single, "Drop It Like It's Hot," both hit number one on the Billboard charts.

Snoop's upcoming "How the West Was Won" tour dates in easy reach for Canadians are as follows (for complete dates and locations, visit snoopdogg.com/events):

April 23, Detroit, MI - Joe Louis Arena
April 30, Amherst, NY - University of Buffalo, Alumni Arena
May 29, Vancouver, BC - Pacific Coliseum
