Robert Plant Brings Strange Sensation to Toronto

After tearing it up at SXSW last month, former Led Zeppelin frontman, Robert Plant, will take his critically acclaimed live show on the road. Billed under Robert Plant and The Strange Sensation, the legendary singer and his new band will begin the North American leg of their tour on June 15th in Rhode Island after playing a series of dates in Europe.

The Strange Sensation have confirmed a total of 22 performances for the summer run, with just one stop north of the 49th parallel. Plant and Co. will be in Toronto on July 6th, playing at the Molson Amphitheatre, after which they'll be heading down to Los Angeles to wrap it all up on the 24th.

"Mighty Rearranger", the upcoming studio album from Robert Plant and The Strange Sensation, is due out on May 10th through Sanctuary Records. If the band's SXSW performance was any indication, Plant's summer jaunt will see him and his band play Led Zeppelin songs alongside the new tracks. Those looking for Led Zep redux won't find it though: Plant opted to perform revamped versions, instead of the same old at the March festival.

Once again, Robert Plant and The Strange Sensation's Canadian stop:
