According to an interview posted on former Korn guitarist Brian "Head" Welch's web site, the musician is set to launch a reality series similar in structure to the MTV smash hit "The Osbournes". Welch, who recently left Korn to concentrate on serving God, says the goal of the TV show is "to glorify God and show the world how much fun this life is".
In addition to starring in a reality series, Welch already has plans to release his first solo album. The guitarist says that he won't seek out a label to release the album, but rather sell it solely through his web site, so "there are no hands on the money that I make, so I can give it back to my people by building something positive, like a skate park".
Included on the as-yet-untitled album is an instrumental song called "A Letter to Dimebag". Dedicated to the late, great Pantera guitarist Dimebag Darrell Abbott, the song features a guitar solo over piano, which Welch has called "guitar language".
