The Bravery Release Debut, Co-Headline with Ash

Published: 2005-03-25
Yet another one of those bands that the British music press tout as The Next Big Thingô before they've even released an album, New York quintet The Bravery will attempt to keep their heads above the hype as their debut hits stores next week. In stores on March 29th, the 11-track eponymous effort is being handled by Island Records, home to The Killers and PJ Harvey.

The track-listing of The Bravery's self-titled debut is:

"An Honest Mistake"
"No Brakes"
"Fearless"
"Tyrant"
"Give In"
"Swollen Summer"
"Public Service Announcement"
"Out of Line"
"Unconditional"
"The Ring Song"
"Rites of Spring"

Not destined for just UK-only success, The Bravery's first single "An Honest Mistake" has gained them attention from music lovers on their home continent. Showing just how hotly-tipped they are, the dance-rock five-piece will embark on a co-headlining tour of North America with rock veterans Ash. Following this the quintet will head back to the UK for a victory lap.

Kicking off yesterday (March 24th) in the band's hometown of NYC, the American jaunt will carry The Bravery and Ash to the beginning of May, with The Bravery finishing up with an appearance at Coachella. The Bravery will be in Canada for just two dates; first in Toronto on April 13th and then Montreal on the following day.

The Bravery's upcoming stops:

April 13 Toronto, ON - Opera House (co-headline w/ Ash)
April 14 Montreal, QC - Studio JPR
