Toronto-based singer/songwriter Lindy has really been making the rounds. He's been on tour practically non-stop for the past year, and it doesn't look like there's any plans for him to slow down in 2005. This time though, he won't be going clear across the country like he did with Tegan & Sara, and Serena Ryder.
The rather tall singer (he's about 6'4") and Orange Records labelmate Melissa McClelland will embark on a short tour of Ontario together this March. So far they have just 4 dates confirmed together, but it's always possible more will be added. Both artists also have upcoming shows without the other, also all in Ontario as it were (well, except for Lindy's two middle-of-nowhere BC dates).
Lindy is still out supporting his newest full-length, the delicate and beautiful "Suspension of Disbelief", while McClelland is hawking her sophomore effort "Stranded in Suburbia" (both albums hit in 2004). It's possible to listen to both albums in FULL at their label's site, www.orangerecords.com, which is a pretty nice deal.
And if it tickles your fancy, read Soul Shine's interview with Melissa McClelland in the 'Features' section of the site.
