Word Records Provides First Online Christian Music Ringtone Store

Published: 2005-03-09
For a while, the musical ringtone craze was currently lacking in a wide selection of Christian songs to announce incoming phone calls, but that's quickly been changed. Fans of artists like Nicole C. Mullen, Building 249, and Sixpence None The Richer can now use said musicians songs in spot of the old boring regular telephone ring. How to get your hands on these ringtones?

Word Records have taken the initiative to provide a fairly large selection of Christian music ringtones through an online store. It's going to cost $2.00US for a "polyphonic" ringtone (the kind that sound like a keyboard), and $2.50US for a "music tone" ringtone (the kind that sound like the actual song, words and all).

Some of the song titles available include: Nicole C Mullen - "Call on Jesus"; Stellar Kart - "Come Back Home"; George Huff - "O Holy Night"; Downhere - "Starspin"; 38th Parallel - "State of Mind"; Salvador - "This Is My Life"; Building 429 - "Above It All"; Sixpence None The Richer - "Breathe Your Name".

Ringtones for the likes of Amy Grant, Randy Travis, Mute Math, Point of Grace, and Rachel Lampa will become available later this spring. To check out the complete selection of ringtones available, go to Word Records' official web site at: www.wordrecords.com.
