Hope of the States Record Debut Album

Published: 2004-01-09
Before settling on a studio to record their debut album the Chichester band Hope of the States searched all over the world to find just the right spot. Band members didn't want to record in a big studio where numerous other people had been. Too many ghosts they said. So the band tried a bunker in Russia and among some Roman ruins in Bath before settling on Ireland. The Grouse Lodge studio is so remote that the town nearby isn't even on a map. Hope of the States finds the isolation good for them. Band members believe that their music is better suited for the wide open spaces.

The as yet untitled CD should be out sometime in the spring with a single being released in late February.
