TobyMac Tours With 'Diverse City'

Published: 2005-03-03
Living the good life thanks to his new album "Welcome To Diverse City", TobyMac's success continues to grow. The rapper found himself nominated for both a Grammy and a Dove Award thanks to the record, and the stats show that "Welcome To Diverse City" has moved over 300,000 units to date.

On top of the album sales and nominations, his single "Atmosphere" was the most added song on R&R's CHR chart for two weeks, and the song "Slam" had similar success. To celebrate the growing success of the 15-track "Welcome To Diverse City", TobyMac (real name: Toby McKeehan) will be touring across America with Kutless and Hawk Nelson.

Things get started today (March 3rd) in Oklahoma, and he won't be slowing down until the end of September. Although TobyMac currently has fewer dates booked near Canada at the moment, Canadian fans won't want to miss him in Shirleysburg, Pennsylvania, at the much anticipated Creation Festival. Check to www.tobymac.com for constant tour updates or to catch him in another city.

In other TobyMac news, a video for the song "Gone" is in the works. McKeehan is working with director Brandon Dickerson for the project, who is known for his work with the likes of Switchfoot, Vince Gill, and Sixpence None The Richer.
