Sowatt Release English Debut, Hit CMW

Quebec City power pop band Sowatt is looking to follow in the footsteps of their brethren Projet Orange, and release their debut English album after an already successful career in their home province with their French music. Sowatt are not currently signed, but have already completed and released their English language debut, which is called "In My Life".

The quintet are using their upcoming performance at Canadian Music Week as an opportunity to find a home for "In My Life", with hordes of label reps attending the huge industry event. Sowatt's CMW showcase will be at Club 279 on March 3rd, with the band hitting the stage at 1:00am, for any who want to offer the band a deal, or just check out their talent.

And for inquiring minds, the track-listing of "In My Life" is:

"Just For a Day"
"In My Life"
"On My Own"
"Say Goodbye"
"When I'm Down"
"Tell Someone"
"Move On"

Before they ventured into the world of the English, Sowatt released an album of French songs. That album was released in April 2003, after the band had been together for four years. Listen to clips of a few songs from Sowatt's English debut "In My Life" at their official site:
