Garbage Release 'Bleed Like Me'

Published: 2005-02-28
A solid release date has finally been given to pop-rock band Garbage's newest studio album. Featuring 11 new tracks, "Bleed Like Me" will be released to North American audiences on April 12th through Geffen Records. The first single, called "Why Do You Love Me", was put out to radio earlier in February.

The band spent the better part of '04 cooped up in an American recording studio to create their fourth full-length. Giving Shirley Manson and Co. some help on the record was renowned drummer and all-around nice guy Dave Grohl. The Foo Fighters frontman contributed his skills behind the kit to the song "Bad Boyfriend".

The track-listing of "Bleed Like Me" is:

"Bad Boyfriend"
"Run Baby Run"
"Right Between The Eyes"
"Why Do You Love Me"
"Bleed Like Me"
"It's All Over But The Crying"
"Boys Wanna Fight"
"Sex Is Not The Enemy"
"Metal Heart"
"Why Don't You Come Over"
"Happy Home"

To promote "Bleed Like Me", Garbage will be heading out on a short tour of North America this April. Just seven performances have been scheduled, with things kicking off in San Francisco on April 10th and finishing up on May 1st in Wisconsin. The band will be playing on Canadian soil in Montreal and Toronto.

Garbage's Canadian stops:

April 24 Montreal, QC - Metropolis
April 25 Toronto, ON - Kool Haus
