In support of their first full-length studio album, renowned live band Magnolia Electric Co. will be heading out on a very lengthy world tour. It's going to take the band four months to hit all the places they want to, and the first two months will be spent touring North America in quite a meticulous way. The North American leg is due to kick off in Champaign, Illinois on April 8th, and finish up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on May 15th.
Included on Magnolia Electric Co.'s scouring tour of North America, are seven Canadian stops. The country-rockers will be playing two shows each in BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and one in Manitoba. The European swing begins on May 29th, and continues until July 9th, with the four-piece visiting the UK, Spain, Serbia, Germany, and Switzerland along the way. The album that the members of Magnolia Electric Co. are dragging their behinds around the world for is called "What Comes After The Blues". Set for release on April 5th, it's Magnolia Electric Co.'s debut album, but mastermind Jason Molina has released countless albums under the name Songs: Ohia. Backwardly, Magnolia Electric Co. put out a live album before they'd released a proper studio album; the 10-track "Trials & Errors" hit stores on January 18th, 2005.
