Michael Bubl» Debuts at Number 1

Published: 2005-02-18
Before its release, it was obvious that Michael Bubl»'s sophomore effort "It's Time" would be a very successful album - after all it had presales of over 100,000 in Canada alone. Not only was "It's Time" released certified platinum, but the 13-track album debuted at #1 on the Canadian record charts. The number of units moved just goes to show that the sophisticated folks of Canada have even more buying power than the almighty teenaged girl.

Not only is the Vancouver crooner's album sitting on top of things, but it knocked out rapper The Game's "Documentary" from its high spot, which in today's current market is surprising to say the least. The dapper Bubl» also managed to find a spot above Green Day's massively successful "American Idiot" this week, and is currently staring down his nose at the "2005 Grammy Nominees" compilation.
