The Kills Take 'No Wow' To Canada

Published: 2005-02-16
Although they haven't had much success in North America, blues-punk duo The Kills have become critical darlings in the UK (as the tale often goes). The London-based band will get another chance to crack America with the release of their second album, which they have titled "No Wow". Reportedly even grittier than their previous effort "Keep On Your Mean Side", "No Wow" will be released in Canada on March 8th through RCA Records.

The track-listing of "No Wow" happens to be:

"No Wow"
"Love Is A Deserter"
"Dead Road 7"
"The Good Ones"
"I Hate the Way You Love"
"I Hate the Way You Love, Pt. 2"
"At The Back of the Shell"
"Sweet Cloud"
"Rodeo Town"
"Ticket Man"

The Kills are spending the first part of February touring Britain, and after a few weeks have passed, the blues-rock two-piece are set to take on the world. The story goes that The Kills have plans to wow North America in the coming months, winning legions of new fans over with an appearance at the Coachella Festival in California, as well as at a few Canadian stops

Quite feedbacky and equally as angry, The Kills debut record "Keep On Your Mean Side" was released in North America in April 2003. In the UK, The Kills' call Domino Records home (best known as Franz Ferdinand's label), and at, it's possible to watch two videos from "Keep On Your Mean Side".

The Kills' upcoming Canadian shows:

March 26 Vancouver, BC - The Drink
April 7 Toronto, ON - The Horseshoe
April 8 Montreal, QC - Petit Campus
